Terms of Service

Ordering a commission from me means that you, the client/commissioner, are automatically accepting the terms of service.
Please note that these terms may change at any time.
Ignoring the terms of service may result in the commission being cancelled/declined.

General information
◆ I accept payments with Paypal invoices only. Full payment is required before I start working on the commission.◆ To order a commission, contact me via Twitter DMs or email: [email protected]◆ The initial email/message must include a clear description of your commission. Feel free to also include a stickman doodle if you want a very specific pose.◆ If you request an OC (original character), the initial email must include clear visual character references.◆ After we discuss all the details and I approve your commission, I will send the invoice to your Paypal email.◆ I can refuse to accept your commission without contact for one reason or another.◆ If a sketch is rejected or the commission is cancelled, I can reuse and modify the pose and composition for other personal or paid art pieces.◆ I will use my own style. Don’t ask me to emulate the style of a piece of media or another artist’s style.◆ Refunds, full or partial, are not possible once the commission is completed and sent to the client (see Refunds and cancellations for more info).◆ A commission can take from 2 weeks to 3 months to be finished, depending on complexity, the size and order of my queue, and my personal situation.◆ The commission is a digital image only; no physical product will be delivered. When it’s completed, a full-res file of the final product will be sent to the client via email.◆ Once the final product is sent to the client, I will not be held responsible if the file gets lost, so please make sure to save a backup copy once you get the final product via email.◆ I maintain the rights to every artwork and commission I produce, and I can use the commission for a portfolio or for self-promotion purposes. While I own the artwork itself, I do not maintain the rights to characters owned by the client/commissioner or characters from established IPs. - Anime and cartoons
- Cartoony/stylized animals and creatures
- Furries and other anthros/humanoids
- Fanart and original characters
- Simple backgrounds (bubbles, sparkles, hearts, flames, etc.)✘ I will NOT draw:
- Realism, real people, pets or live-action characters
- Extremely complex designs (mecha, detailed robots/armor, etc.)
- NSFW, nudity, sexually suggestive acts/gestures, fetishes or extreme gore
- Complex backgrounds (places, environments or architecture)Payment
◆ I only accept payments through Paypal invoices◆ You will have up to 7 days after I send the invoice to pay. If I don't get paid on that time period, the commission will be cancelled.◆ Your commission will be added to the queue after you send the payment. Commissions are added to the queue in the same order each one gets paid (the only exceptions are commissions paid with a rush fee, those are highest priority and I always put them at the top of the queue).◆ Some commissions will cost more depending on the complexity of the character, outfits, props, additional characters, etc.◆ I will not lower my base prices or the price I give you.Refunds and cancellations
◆ I may cancel a commission at any time for any reason. If I’m unable to complete your commission for personal reasons, I will give you a full refund.◆ You may cancel a commission at any time BEFORE the commission is finished. Full refunds are only possible before I show you the first WIP, or if I have to cancel the commission because I’m unable to complete it for personal reasons. If you cancel after I show you the first sketch/WIP, I will refund 50% of the payment.◆ Refunds, full or partial, are not possible once the commission is completed and sent to the client. If you file a chargeback after your commission has been completed and sent, you will be blacklisted and forbidden to commission me again, and I will send a warning to other artists.Progress, revisions and changes/edits
◆ I will show you the WIPs (works in progress) for the sketch and the flat colors so that you can give me feedback and tell me if you like the progress, or if you want changes. WIPs will be in low resolution and heavily watermarked.◆ If I get no reply from you 48 hours after I send you a WIP, I'm going to focus working on a commission for another client before I can continue working on yours. If I complete the other client’s commission and still get no reply from you, I’ll continue working on yours without your feedback.◆ I will not change the pose once the sketch is approved. If you are not satisfied with the pose, please let me know when I show you the sketch.◆ If the client is not satisfied after all possible sketch revisions or other WIPS, the commission will be cancelled and I will refund 50% of the payment.◆ You can check my trello to see the current status of my queue: https://trello.com/b/SKeeZzlC/emlirs-commission-queueTurnaround time

If there's a deadline, I will charge an additional fee.◆ It is REALLY IMPORTANT to reply to my WIPs as soon as possible when a deadline is given, and if I get no reply from you after a long time, I’ll continue working on your commission without your feedback in order to meet your deadline.◆ Please note that I will not accept deadlines that I cannot meet due to specific circumstances, so if you want a deadline, we’ll need to discuss it first and I’ll tell you if I can meet it or not.Rights and permissions
◆ I can post the commission on my social media/online profiles and use it for a portfolio, unless it’s a private commission (let me know beforehand if you want it private).◆ You (the client) are free to repost your commission on your social media and use it as your profile picture or banner. Please credit me if you post it.◆ The client can request to remain anonymous when I upload the commission.◆ Personal use only. You may not use the commission for commercial purposes or sell it in any way (this includes NFTs).◆ You are not allowed to edit the commission or to remove my signature.
